resolutions

i have one major resolution this year.

i'm going to try and be a nicer person. this is pretty much directed at one person.

that might seem silly, but we have this friend who i tend to be rather.. short with. he annoys me, gets on my nerves and drives me crazy, but he's one of those people who would do anything for you and give you the shirt of his back if you were cold.

i found out this christmas that he has no family. he spends the holidays alone every year, and doesn't get into the xmas spirit at all.. no tree, no one to have dinner with, nothing.

i'm going to make much more of an effort to be nice to this person, spend time with him, and darnit, just be a better friend to someone who's been nothing but kind & generous to us..
