crystal's little corner

it's been a roller coaster of a week... whew! last tuesday i was "ousted" from the sales department at OIR and given the opportunity to either go back to working in the kitchen, or going to work front desk. THEN, i had an offer from chester building supplies (where mark works) to go work there. so, thursday & friday last week i worked at front desk, and then monday-wednesday this week, i was at CBS. this morning i have a meeting at the hotel and i'll decide where i'm going to be working. surprisingly enough, i LOVED working at the building supply store. on another note, my son is driving me insane, but because he's so cute, i need to post a new picture!

i'm not in the mood to update, play with alex or do anything much for that matter. the sun was shining all day saturday so alex & i were outside, and today i went for a walk early this morning. i'm EXHAUSTED at this point and just want to have a nap!!! but, the laundry fairy hasnt' come to do the 3 loads in the basement and there's no way alex is going to let me rest... his new favorite thing in the entire world is "crystal mommy", which is great because normally he wants mark over me, but today, i wish he'd just call for daddy. on the weight loss front, i gained last week... so no 5 weeks in a row for this girl... i did however join a cardio class, it starts tomorrow night. if i don't die, i will let you all know how it goes! now, i have to go do some research for a TOPS meeting, marcie asked if i would lead the meeting on may 28th.... so i need to go google for some inspiration!

for the last 4 weeks in a row, i've had a loss at weigh in.. i was down 1.8 last night... i can hardly believe it!! this week was ok.. long, and i'm totally stoked that i get a long weekend. i can't remember the last time i had a holiday off. we're heading for river philip this weekend, then home on sunday to do an egg hunt & dinner at marcie & terry's. i'm really looking forward to some family time!

amazing how fast time goes through the week. this week has been just as crazy as the last few, with very little down time to post on here! i'm SO glad it's saturday... gave me some time to spend one on one with alex, so i took him over to work for a swim. that didnt' last long though cuz the little monkey was tired out! we've been home for less than 15 minutes, and he's already out cold in bed. :)
