I got handed a box today at work.. it contains my very own business cards!

i got a hangover. i wish i had something important to say.. but i've got a rather large head after a great party.. free food, liquour, hotel room, and then my boss bought us breakfast :) it was a good time. we're decorating outside today and then going to mark's folks for turkey dinner.. :)

wow.. i'm having a HARD time getting in to the holiday spirits this year.. the house has a few decorations inside, and i've written some cards, but i feel like i'm just sort of going through the motions this year.. which is odd because its a year when alex is old enough to understand and know what's going on.. we're heading out this afternoon to get our tree, and hopefully the family auction/potluck tomorrow will help.. something has to.. right??

whew.. things have been crazy.. now that i'm home again after getting the floors finished, you would think, being as crazy as i am about things being clean & organized, i would have taken my 3 day weekend and finished getting things put away.. nope, decided to head for oxford and spend the weekend with mom. had a great weekend.. we took alex to the santa clause parade in amherst, did some xmas shopping, and finished putting her outside stuff out. i start my new job on january 12th.. my official title is "sales coordinator". im not entirely sure what all it entails, but i'm sure it will be nice to get back to a monday to friday gig :)
